How to clone Harddisk and restore using acronis

Clone the server Harddisk and  restore to another server using Acronis software

1. Acronis download link

• download the acronis.rar file and unzip the iso file.
• using nero or img burner , burn the iso file to a cd
• use a external usb hardisk (above 250gb) connected to the server while cloning and restoring

Backup(Clone)

2. Shutdown your liver server (either windows or linux)

• boot the server with the acronis bootable cd.
• follow this video tutorial to take the Backup (clone) of your harddisk.

Restore the clone to another server harddisk

3. Boot the server in which u want to restore with acronis bootable cd

•    follow the below video tutorial to restore the clone to another server.
•    make sure the external usb harddisk to be  connected , in which the clone image is stored

Once restore done start the server , now you see the server with same os and data as of previous server.
